Details: CHENNAI: Chennai-based SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST - Deemed University) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Queen's University, Ontario, Canada. Under the agreement, the two institutions would do collaborative research in population and public health with focus on infectious diseases (neonatal sepsis and MRSA), alternative energy with a focus on fuel cells, biogas, solar energy and human and natural sciences with focus on nanotechnology and biotechnology.
